Tracking and monitoring progress is an essential component of a good fitness plan. At Fitness Together all clients are thoroughly assessed before they begin their training program. The assessments allow the staff to gain a firm understanding of each client’s initial fitness level. Based on the assessments and a comprehensive discussion of each client’s individual goals, an appropriate and individualized program is created.

The assessment protocol includes many of the standard measurements such as Body fat %, Strength, Flexibility, Body Circumference, and Cardiovascular performance. In addition, each client’s posture is assessed to identify potential muscular imbalances, which are the most frequent cause of many common aches and pains. (low-back, knee, hip, elbow, and shoulder) All clients are re-assessed on a regular basis (approximately every 8 weeks). The re-assessments are essential because they allow a formal opportunity for the staff to review progress with each client, set new short-term goals, and make any necessary modifications to the training regimen. The results of each assessment are presented in a detailed report which is the clients to keep. |
